Maclyn Stringer
Flight Instructor
Brief info
Maclyn earned his Private Pilot Certificate in 1992 and later returned to flying after a successful career outside aviation, realizing his true passion was teaching people to fly. Today, he holds CFII and MEI certificates and has experience flying Beech, Cessna, Diamond, Piper, Vans, and Cirrus aircraft. He enjoys working with pilots at every stage of training, from first-time students to those pursuing advanced ratings, learning how to navigate in the mountains, or transitioning to new aircraft. Maclyn believes flight instruction is about more than passing a check ride. His goal is to help every student become a confident, safe pilot, prepared to make sound decisions throughout their flying career. Seeing students achieve milestones they once thought were beyond their reach is what makes instructing so rewarding.
