Andrew’s passion for aviation began during Air Force mechanic school, where working around military aircraft sparked a lifelong interest in flying and aviation systems. He completed his flight training at several schools throughout the Denver area and earned his Certified Flight Instructor certificate in 2024. Andrew has flown Cessna 172s and 182s and now instructs in Cirrus aircraft.
Alongside instructing, Andrew serves as Ground Team Manager and Maintenance Manager at Independence Aviation, overseeing ground support personnel and coordinating both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for the fleet. He is deeply committed to safety and enjoys teaching and supporting others as they work toward their aviation goals. Andrew also holds a degree in Air Traffic Control, giving him a well-rounded perspective on aviation operations. Outside of flying, he enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the mountains, and relaxing at the beach, depending on the season.
