Kelsey began flying out of KBJC in 2020, while working full time as a Program Manager in software. She quickly realized that flying airplanes sounded like a much better job than sitting in front of the computer, and after completing her ratings began work as a flight instructor out of KBJC. One of her favorite subjects is weather, which comes in handy in the varied environment of the Front Range, where convective storms can be displaced by a blizzard overnight.

With experience in Cirrus, Piper, and Cessna aircraft, Kelsey is passionate about ensuring students receive excellent instruction to build skills to safely encounter all that aviation has to offer. In her free time, she enjoys skiing and hiking in the Rocky Mountains.
