Taylor Porter, a St. George, Utah native, began her aviation journey at Southern Utah University. After earning her flight ratings, she joined the SUU flight instruction team, where she gained valuable experience flying a Cirrus SR20, Bonanza, and Citabria.

With a passion for challenging flight experiences, Taylor transitioned to the corporate aviation world, flying Lear 35s and 55s for a Part 135 charter and medevac company based in Denver. Her diverse flying career has taken her to Canada, Mexico, Central America, and Alaska.

While Taylor enjoyed the excitement of jet travel, she yearned to return to her roots in flight instruction. We're thrilled to have her join the Independence Aviation team, where she will share her knowledge and expertise with our students.
